Having spent a decent amount of time playing clash of clans, hay-day and clash royal, these games eventually tend to feel repetitive and that barrier has been broken by brawl stars. Brawl stars is a third-person, top-down shooter game which allows you to pick from a wide range of characters called brawlers each having unique abilities and brawl with people all over the world. This game offers us a variety of mini-games which allows for a new experience that sets this game apart from the typical shooter game.
For any game to stick on to the peoples routines, it has to have fresh content being given to the players on regular intervals, this aspect of the game developers at brawl stars is really admired by all the players including myself. We keep hearing from content creators all over on every platform that it is incredibly hard to come up with new content, as hard as it maybe brawl stars game developers haven't failed to put out new content every season. With every new update there is always new events, brawlers, new skins and many more.
Speaking of brawlers, there have been 61 different brawlers each with its own unique abilities and gameplay. With new incoming brawlers all the time, it leaves a very small gap for players to get bored of the game. The number 61 should give you a rough idea about the number of updates they have released so far...which is a lot!!
I personally am a free-to-play player, meaning I haven't spent any cash to buy in-game items, be it skins or gems(A type of currency which is hard to obtain in the game), and I know there are a lot of people out there who just play the game for fun and aren't really interested in paying real cash for in-game items, for all these kind players out there, this is practically the best game you could find, the game developers are really looking out for us by ensuring that free-to-play players are enjoying every bit as pay-to-play players, by making the best in-game items available for all the players and won only through pure skill in contests and tournaments, which is what I love about this game.
Building a community is an amazing byproduct of an top-notch game, the brawl stars community is a healthy and growing community including all kinds of different players ranging from players who have stuck around since the launch of the game to newbies and content creators. Maintaining this community is crucial and can be very fruitful for the game developers. The game developers have a very close contact with content creators (the perfect people to market and hype up the game) as well as casual players. The developers also engage the players by conducting skin designing contests and many real life tournaments. With all this the developers are able to listen to feedback and respond for the same and so far they have responded to feedbacks appropriately by making the necessary changes to the game be it something minor or something humongous through consecutive updates.
The last thing I would like to point out is that any random shooter game has the basic concept of one character with a weapon shooting the opponent, brawl stars can be a differentiator in this aspect since the game developers have put forth an amazing and dark story line which even breaks the 4th wall. If I were to present you with the gist, the whole setting is an amusement park called STARR PARK which is just a front for a secret laboratory which experiments on the people who visit the park. The developers also took time and money in making a video for the same explaining the dark truth which also foreshadows the fact that the players would be controlling the brawlers through their phones.
